The voluptuous scent of Ylang Ylang is used in perfumery, bath, and body oils. The oil regulates cardiac and respiratory rhythms and soothes anger and physical pain. It acts as an aphrodisiac, a sedative, and a euphoric. Ylang Ylang treats frigidity, impotence, depression, oily skin, insomnia, acne, and insect bites. Ylang super, also called "extra", refers to the first press. Subsequent pressings are mixed together to make "regular" Ylang Ylang. The super or extra has a superior, soft, and delicate scent.
